There is no doubt that the GTR is a high-end wing designed for competition, but what makes it unique, truly unrivalled, is that technically it is within reach of many pilots who are not in the least interested in entering the world of competition or who are not attracted by the idea of turning between pylons. What we are interested in is that the user knows that the GTR is one more option, among the ever-increasing number of paragliders that are put in front of them, when one thinks about changing wings.
Paramania designer Mike Campbell is very clear about this: "The idea is that pilots will achieve better flights, will cover long distances, new challenges, will reach very high speeds, because their wings will perform better, but with one condition, they must be easier and more stable in all situations."
The GTR is the result of a consistent and constant evolution that has resulted in a “super racing” paraglider, but at the same time affordable for non-competitors. It is the first wing designed for competition that has no problem being handled by any pilot with a hundred or two hundred flights under his belt. That is the most important conclusion, although it is difficult to convey.
The contribution of this GTR to the evolution of Paramotor paragliders marks an obvious turning point. Until now, competition wings required a high level of piloting and a great habit of managing a collapse in order to successfully emerge from a collapse (see the Action GT and many other wings that are difficult to reopen in the event of a collapse). Today, the GTR allows us to go much further, not because the wing performs much better than another (something that is always debatable), but because the level of stress it transmits is really low thanks to the stability of this wing.

If the pilot of a GTR wants to make the most precise turn in the world, the wing will allow it in conditions that were previously unimaginable, thanks to a wing loading and an innovative design. Years ago, double-control brakes, perforated trailing edges (never on the intrados), trims with spectacular travel and very small sizes for flying quickly were already used. But, everything is never set up so that the pilot does not find himself in the situation of flying the invention with critical demands. On the contrary, with the GTR the handling has no drawbacks, everything is easy, because the "bug" takes off, flies stable in turbulence and lands, with very little demand.
